How to Divine with your body
I first learned the art of body divining with my amazing Feng Shui teacher Robert Gray. With body divining you tap into the universal intelligence or divine source of all information, instead of using your logical mind, to acquire your ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers.
You can use this for so much. To assess your authenticity, to assess your current vibration on the Vibe Scale of Consciousness, to assess the vibration of books, magazines, companies, events, therapists, foods, the possibilities for this practice are endless.
To me body divining is my conscience, my best friend, my oneness with the Universe. I feel I am on the right path when I have used the art of body divining.
So how do you do it?
- Stand up, preferably barefoot, toes spread out firmly connecting with the floor. Yogis can stand in mountain pose. Feet shoulder width apart, shoulders back, chest out, chin level and arms by your side. Close your eyes, and ask the Universe, please show me my ‘yes’. Stand still and wait. After a few moments your body will rock, usually backwards or forwards.
- Say stop.
- Start again to find your ‘no’ answer. Ask the Universe, please show me my ‘no’. Again, stand still and wait and after a few moments your body will rock, usually the opposite to your ‘yes’ answer. If you want to confirm you are on the right track, ask questions you know have ‘no’ for the answer.
- When you are happy you have clarity on your ‘yes’ and ‘no’ answers, it is always helpful to ask, ‘am I connected to my higher self?’, or ‘do I have permission to ask questions today?’ If you get a ‘no’ answer, then don’t do it. Remember only use this skill for the greater good of you, your family and this earth. Do not use it for any unethical practice.
